Jas is a criminal defence lawyer that has extensive experience dealing with all types of criminal, regulatory and traffic offences. He has worked on all types of criminal offences including murder, manslaughter, assault, sexual assault, aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, theft, fraud, possession of stolen property, impaired driving and driving while prohibited.
Jas also has extensive experience dealing with Motor Vehicle Act offences including Immediate Roadside Prohibitions (IRP’s) and Administrative Driving Prohibitions (ADP’s). He has also successfully defended traffic tickets for all individuals including professional truck and taxi drivers.
Jas has also successfully defended claims of civil forfeiture under the Civil Forfeiture Act.
Jas has represented clients at all levels of court, including the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the British Columbia Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Outside of work, Jas enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is an avid sports fan, listing hockey and football as his favourites.
